She’s passionate about beauty, wellness and sustainability (and a good hair product) and knows supplements better than anyone.


@georgenorthwood   The man who gave us the iconic ‘undone wave’ is not just hairdresser to the likes of Alexa Cheung, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Meghan Duchess of Sussex, he’s a committed salon and session stylist who knows real people’s hair issues. Plus, he’s a safe sun-worshipper and a yogi, which makes us love him even more.

A pioneer in the movement towards inclusivity, Ruby focuses on emphasising and enhancing natural features, teaching people to embrace their unique beauty.


@drsophieshotter   Dr Sophie is one of a new breed of highly successful aesthetic practitioners with a medical background (she used to be an anaesthetist!). As well as being fluent in several languages, Sophie runs the award-winning Illuminate Skin Clinics. She loves nothing more than seeing beauty backed by science. With her unrivalled knowledge of skin health inside and out and passion for beauty tech, she helps everyone find their skin confidence.


@bryony_blake   Bryony has been an in-demand MUA on TV shows such as the X-Factor, Strictly Come Dancing and Downton Abbey and many more and since 2015 is a familiar face on camera too as one of the Beauty Experts on ITV’s This Morning, which includes live demonstrations, masterclasses and makeovers. While she learned her craft making up famous faces, she is also known these days for her work with everyday members of public and knows what works on real people not just on camera.


@atehjewelv   Beauty journalist, broadcaster, TV beauty pundit founder, diversity advocate, beauty junkie and GTG contributor, Ateh is passionate about sustainability as she is about inclusivity. She was also awarded the CEW 2020 Achiever Award to honour her diversity work for the past 20 years. Oh yes, she’s also a mum of twins.


@madeleinelovesthis   Makeup artist, podcaster and bibliophile, Madeleine writes for Get The Gloss about everything from acne to anxiety via eyeliner and Elvis. The knows her way around wellness and self-care, being a firm believer in the power of retreating and recharging.


@theeditorslist   It takes a lot to impress Olivia Falcon. As former health and beauty editor of Tatler magazine and its prestigious Cosmetic Surgery Guide, she has tried every cream and non-invasive beauty treatment going and runs her beauty concierge service The Editor’s List. This year, she co-founded sustainable brand Spectacle Skincare, taking a deep dive into the very latest eco packaging, ingredients and supply chain to find a truly planet friendly performance product.


@dominic_mua   If you’re a fan of BBC3 makeup talent search Glow Up, you’ll know Dominic’s exacting standards when it comes to judging makeup and his boundary- pushing love of creativity. With more than 20 years in the beauty business, Dom is full to the brim with tips, tricks and hacks and has the coveted role or Senior Global Artist at MAC.


@jakejamie   Jake-Jamie, is a beauty Instagrammer and TikToker whose fun skincare, makeup and quirky DIY videos have attracted more than 100 million views. A passionate advocate of equality within the beauty industry, Jake founded the viral #MakeupIsGenderless campaign to fight for every person's right to wear cosmetics and skincare with confidence.


@anchal   MUA Anchal has a lively online community and is best known for her curly hair, on fleek eyeliner, infectious smile. Anchal has worked with high street beauty brands such as Neutrogena and Revlon to high-end names such Estee Lauder and Too Faced. We can’t get enough of her podcast ‘Would the Aunties Say' about life as a young British Asian woman.


@dija_ayodele   Dija is a highly-respected skin health specialist and founder of West Room Aesthetics as well as the Black Skin Directory; founded in 2018 to better connect people of colour to professional skincare.v


@outspokenbeautynicola   Get The Gloss beauty columnist Nicola Bonn is voice behind the hugely popular Outspoken Beauty Podcast. having been radio broadcaster for 15 years working on some of the UK’s largest radio stations including Classic FM and Heart. She knows the incredible conversations that beauty can start and loves championing niche brands.


@adeolagboyega   A pro-makeup artist who lives by the ‘skin-first’ mantra, Adeola has a decade of experience in the beauty industry experience and has worked for big beauty brands such as Clarins, Lancome, Kate Somerville, Bobbi Brown and Pat McGrath Labs. Adeola educates on how to get her signature glow look and has built up a loyal following of glow-getters.


@alicia.lartey   Alicia Lartey is a fabulous new voice in skincare who is on a mission to bring impartial skin care advice, knowledge and understanding to a new generation. At just 22 and currently in her third year of a biomedical science degree, long-time acne sufferer Alicia is a fresh new voice in skincare who has been featured in the likes of WGSN as ‘Ones to Watch 2020 Beauty Visionaries’ and one of the new ‘Pharmfluencers’ by Style magazine.v


@dr_galyna   Dr Galyna Selezneva is one of London’s leading aesthetic doctors and as of this year a new mum! She is renowned for her body positivity when it comes to women's intimate health and is a specialist in non-surgical body sculpting and skin-tightening treatments.
